Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“ToS and EULA”)

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“ToS and EULA”) govern your use of CrunchyScore (the “Extension”) available on Chrome and Firefox, and its associated API, available at api.crunchyscore.app. By using the Extension, you agree to comply with these ToS and EULA.

1. License and Intellectual Property

1.1 Ownership: The Extension and all associated intellectual property rights, excluding the code in the publicly accessible repository at this URL, belong to the Extension owner. The source code in the publicly accessible repository is licensed under the MIT License.

1.2 License: The Extension is licensed under the terms you agree to upon downloading and installing it from either the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons website. This includes compliance with the respective terms of service and policies of the platforms (Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons).

1.3 Restrictions: You shall not modify, distribute, reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Extension without prior written consent from the Extension owner. Google and its affiliates, as well as Mozilla and its affiliates, are granted a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, link to, copy, translate, publicly perform, publicly display, test, distribute and otherwise use the Extension.

2. User Conduct

2.1 Acceptable Use: You agree to use the Extension in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You shall not engage in any activity that may disrupt, interfere with, or compromise the functionality or security of the Extension.

2.2 Prohibited Actions: You shall not use the Extension to transmit or store any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful to others. You shall not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Extension or its associated systems.

3. Limitations of Liability

3.1 Disclaimer: The Extension and its associated API are provided on an “as-is” basis. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Extension. You use the Extension at your own risk.

3.2 Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the Extension owner be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Modifications and Termination

4.1 Extension Updates: We may update or modify the Extension from time to time to improve its functionality or address any issues. You agree to accept such updates and modifications.

4.2 Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these ToS and EULA. After termination, Google may retain and use copies of the Extension for support of the Web Store, Google Chrome extensions, and Google Chrome.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

5.1 Governing Law: These ToS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws and jurisdiction. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these ToS shall be exclusively brought in the appropriate courts.

5.2 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute or claim arising from or related to these ToS shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, either party may seek mediation or arbitration as a final remedy.

6. Updates to the ToS and EULA

We may revise these ToS and EULA from time to time. The most current version of the ToS and EULA will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the Extension after any revisions, you agree to be bound by the updated ToS and EULA.
